Welcome to the Official Ellen Michaels Photography Website. Ellen Michaels, formerly a model, is currently a wildlife and nature photographer specializing in photos of the birds, butterflies, insects, and flowers of Central Park in New York City.

My work has appeared in The New Birder's Guide to Birds of North America, Bird Watcher's Digest, The Urban Audubon, The Birds of New York City, BWD Magazine, The Urban Bird Call, and publications by The Linnaean Society of New York, among others.

While almost all of my photos were taken in Central Park, some were captured in other beautiful locations in and around New York.
