Millions of people visit Central Park yearly. With it's abundance of wildlife and many dragonfly and damselfly species, visitors from all over the world enjoy this great location.

The best time to see dragonflies and damselflies in Central Park is June through October.

The most abundant dragonfly species in Central Park and New York City are the Blue Dasher and the Eastern Amberwing. The most abundant damselfly species is the Eastern Forktail.
