Central Park Warblers
Ellen Michaels, formerly a model, is a wildlife and nature photographer specializing in photos of the birds, butterflies and insects of Central Park in New York City.
Millions of people visit Central Park yearly. With it's abundance of birds, over 280 species, visitors from all over the world enjoy this great location for birding.
These are pictures of some of the birds you might see if you go birding in Central Park during spring migration, mid April-May, and fall migration, August-November. During those peak periods there are at least 34 species of warblers that can usually be seen in Central Park. And they are, of course, the main attraction during migration.
