Autumn is in the air in New York and in Central Park and the flowers are still blooming and fragrant and the trees are beginning to turn colors. Some of the current flowers in bloom in Central Park in the Conservatory Garden, the other gardens and the Reservoir are Black-eyed Susan, Aster, Butterfly Weed, Daisy, Mountain Mint, Hibiscus, Butterfly Bush, Korean Chrysanthemum, Blue Lobelia, Japanese Anemone, Fall Crocus, Obedient Plant, Oakleaf Hydrangea, Rose, Trumpet Honeysuckle, Salvia, Phlox, and Sneezeweed.
The best locations in Central Park to see beautiful, colorful flowers are Shakespeare Garden at 79th St on the west side of the park, Conservatory Garden at 104th to 106th Street and Fifth Avenue, the North Meadow Butterfly Gardens at the East Drive and 102nd Street, The Ramble, the North Woods, the Dene, the Wildflower Meadow and the Reservoir.
